SDMX Inside

Fusion Registry is built entirely around the SDMX information model ensuring complete reliability and compatibility.

Data Lifecycle Support

We understand the needs of official statistics organisations, so Fusion Registry supports all of the common use cases from collection through to final dissemination.

Extensible

Fusion Registry's plug-in framework makes it easy to extend to cover any new use cases or requirements, for instance custom data formats.

Metadata Driven

Metadata (information about how the statistical data is structured and classified) is at the heart of everything enabling data governance, quality and automation.

Performance at Scale

Statisticians and data consumers want fast response both when exploring the data catalogue and executing queries. Fusion Registry is designed to provide industry-leading performance, and to scale easily as data volumes and demand rise.

Powerful Web Data Browser

Good statistics are only useful if people can get access to them. That's why Fusion Registry comes with a powerful web data browser tool for data search, visualisation and analysis.

Cloud or On-Premises

Deploy on-premises for maximum control over configuration, integration and confidentiality. Or take advantage of Metadata Technology's managed cloud services for a cost effective and low management solution.

Continuous Improvement

You're not just buying an SDMX software tool, but a continuously evolving ecosystem of products, solutions and services designed exclusively for the official statistics community by listening to the requirements of the official statistics community.

Aggregated Data Master

Fusion Registry 10 excels at managing aggregated data making it suitable for the latter stages of the official statistics lifecycle when building, curating, exchanging and publishing highly structured statistical datasets is what's required.

What about VTL, Microdata and Big Data?

We've listened to what official statistics organisations want, and what software tools they need to support strategic plans. So VTL, microdata, and support for big data sources and processing methods are the three main Fusion Registry 10 development themes to 2022.

Check out the 2020-2022 Development Roadmap to find out what's planned.

What is SDMX?

SDMX (Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange) is an international standard that aims at standardising and modernising the mechanisms and processes for the exchange of statistical data and metadata between official statistics organisations.

SDMX is sponsored by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the European Central Bank (ECB), Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Union), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), and the World Bank.
